This morning Jayda was bound and determined to use her birthday money to get an iPOD.
While searching for just the right song, baby Jay got in on the hype! He was watching jayda dance behind me!
If Michael were to interpret this little video...he would say the baby was not enjoying it but wanted it turned off and fast!!!!
Dinner was spaghetti and meat sauce. Baby Jay loves ghetti!

*Likes going out and about
*thinks sitting on his dads shoulders makes him king of the world!
Well, I have been uber busy with Baby Jay lately. About three days ago, he started that wiggly, wirey, not sitting still stuff! If you hold him he stands up in your lap, grabs my face, then my hair, then my ear rings...then he is off trying to reach what he can around me and pushing off with his feet. If you put him on the floor, he army crawls and rolls where ever he needs to be. He has mastered the sit up move from laying down and can get down to move from a sitting position.
Yesterday morning, for the first time in ages...I revisited my favorite pasttime- Golf! Michael needed to hit some balls to get back in golfing form. The baby was in his stroller armed with cheerios, I took my 9 iron, and Michael had his clubs. The fresh air, sunny morning, odd{because it is nearly july) cool breeze, and green green grass just filled me to exhileration! I love golfing and have for many years...unfortunately, Michael's shoulder was getting worse, I got pregnant and then I had a baby....so much for golf. I miss it alot of days, but there is more important things to attend to at this point in my life. Hopefully, this will encourage Michael to play more and we can start playing again!
I had to retrieve Marc from the airport last night. His flight was to be in at 4:55 pm. I checked before I left and they said delayed until 6:03. So I left at 5:00. We went straight to the cell lot because I was a wee bit early and his flight scheduled time came and went...I called the airline! 7:35 pm it said! So baby was content in his carseat for the first hour and then I got him out! He was happy as could be and nursed and then that fidgety wiggly stuff I told you about in the last paragraph began!!! He chewed on the steering wheel, stood up in my lap, pulled my hair, played with the seatbelt, turned around and chewed on the steering wheel again, found the windshield wiper and turned that on full blast and then realized if he pulled on it water shot out, and so I fought him to keep him from doing it for the next half hour. Did I mention it was torrential downpours and thunder and lightening so close I felt the electricity? Finally the call came. His flight did not land until 20 til 8 and then he was not ready until a bit after 8 and I did not arrive home until 9 pm! Baby cried hysterically for a half hour. He woke up to find Marc in the car and was extremely stranger aware! Once home, he sobbed anytime I put him down here at the house from 9-10 pm. He finally came around after that hour and was his jovial self only to fall asleep soon after! I took a shower, read my Janet Evanovich book, Sugar Plums and my eyes fell closed! I am unaware as to when baby woke but I feel it was sometime at daybreak. Somehow I was still in a fog!
Michael lowered the crib last night to the super lowest position because he is just starting to pull himself up on things.
Have to make sure and put the sides up from now on. Oh look, baby Jay barfed on the rail already!
His toy box has to be on his side now because he wants what's in there and will pull himself up on it only to have it topple on him.
This morning the phone rang at 7:25 am. UGH, I was sound asleep. It was Marc calling of all people! {You have to know Marc...he doesnt get up til noon most days! But then again he is still on London time!} He wanted to know if Michael wanted to go play golf in a half hour! I talked him into it as he needs to practice before his big member guest tournament in a couple weeks. So, Michael was up and into the shower...baby was into his mobile car unit walker thingy...I started Michael's coffee, got his golf bag out and shoes, fixed him a delicious egg sandwich so he would have lots of energy and kissed him off and wished him well. Kissed him off, that sounded funny, but I like it!
In the meantime, baby Jay played and I got caught up on my email. Now that he is napping, I can finally blog!
After his nap, we had breakfast! Prunes and oatmeal!
Jay thinks prunes are THE best and will lick them off his face everytime!!!
Michael and I did yard work today. I trimmed shrubs in my courtyard and my roses.
Baby Jay loves bathtime!
I have to say, it has been a wonderful weekend, save for the airport fiasco... I can not complain, life is good!

Just a normal day!
Michael gives baby his bath everynight. He puts lotion on him and his hair usually ends up spiked...Look how long it is getting. It flattened itself quite quickly but I had to have Jacob take this picture straight away! My sweetie pie!
Library for beading class, post office, Marc's house to take care of cats, and then home again home again jiggity jig!
Speaking of the post office, I mailed out my first card I sold at my Etsy shop earlier this week! My mother bought the card...hahahaha! I love her! You know, it is sort of like that "lemonade stand theory", always buy! Thanks mom!
You have to go and see her new bracelet she made...it is a watch band! You go mom!!!!
Speaking of my mother...I miss her!
I am sick and tired of making dinner every night....hahahaha, just kidding. I actually have enjoyed it.
Something so exciting... I just signed Jayda up for a 6 week volleyball clinic! YAY, I am so excited! She is more excited than I am. I was working with her some, and she is quite a natural talent! I hope she takes to it and loves it as much as I do.

Jayda's Birthday
The morning began yesterday with Jayda awaking to paper balloons all over her bedroom floor. Real balloons kind of freak her out, so I didn't think they would be appropriate. I sang to her and gave her a big hug! She loved that!
Here she is entertaining her baby brother!
Here's my sweet sleepy baby, getting ready to go down for his nap with his frog blankie. He was all cuddled in and when his daddy pulled out the camara he lifted his head and smiled!
I put Jayda up against the wall and measured her. You will see I started this when they were three. Jacob has progressively grown like a weed! He is in marker and she is in pen.
Then it was off to celebrate Jayda's day by having lunch at her favorite place! A japanese restaurant across town. She loved every second of it...and if you go when they first open, everything is so hot and delish! The sushi was to absolutely kill for yesterday! mmmmmm Again, mommom was missed greatly, not only for her great company...but when the bill came! hahahah Just kidding mother! About the paying...but NOT about being there!
Here's baby before we left!
On the way home, we drove through what would have been a police/carjacker shootout. Thank goodness we went to the dollar store and goody's because we missed it!(Goody's is shutting its doors and having huge sales...I got baby jay some jammies...he is outgrowing his others and they are wintery and he sweats so bad!)
Michael came home early to have Jayda's birthday dinner! Spagheti and meat sauce, garlic breadsticks, and cherries for dessert! They are on sale here in FL for 2.99 a pound. That's alot of money...but I so love them, and better than the 5.99 a pound a few weeks ago!
He not only came home early for dinner, but also because I was heading over to the local scrapbook store in Daytona to attend a cardmaking class. Mike hit it on the head when he said that I could have done that as easily and better than the ones i made...but it was the fact of being out and away from baby for some ME time! Thank you honey!
Jayda went with me, when she found out I was going her shoulders slunked over disappointed I would be leaving the house. I asked her if she wanted to come along and she was ecstatic! I have to say, she followed directions perfectly and was a welcome addition to the group. I guess that's what happens when you turn 10!!! Youll see she photographed her cards and asked if I would like to post them. How could I resist???
Baby has been super crabby and off his schedule today and cranky and whiney and crying and needy....I gave him some tylenol today. He didn't have a fever but he was warm and clearly in pain. I am unsure what this is about...I thought it was teething but I am wondering if he has a UTI as he grabs his privates and cries when I take his diaper off. He gets a good shiver when he tinkles lately, and I wonder if this is from some pain. He was dry all night last night. I wonder if that's why he is nursing more lately. It's so hard to tell. Will someone please direct me to the baby handbook they give you when you leave the hospital that tells you everyting about children until their 18!?!? LOL
I am going to keep my eye open about this. I could be going overboard and it could be because his darn #3 size diapers are to snug and cutting into his side a bit this morning! We went out to Wally about 9 am to get him size #4 diapers! They are for babies 22-37 pounds. Last he was weighed I believe Grampy Jay said it was 26 pounds he weighed! In 4 days my baby turns 8 months. UGH!!! Where has time gone. I do hope as time slides more swiftly away from me, I will be able to revisit this wonderful sight and remember what I might have forgotten! I blog so as to never forget...as I scrapbook!
After we got home from the store I took his diaper off and let him wallow around naked as he needed some air on his bum cheeks!
I caught some of the cutest pictures of a baby boy finding his jingalingadingding for the very first time! Too cute, made me giggle. For his sake and mental well being as a teenager, I refused to post them no matter how badly I want to...
Jayda just got invited to sleep the night at a friend Alex's house. I thought that would be fine. But, it ends up she lives over near Universal Studios..and Jayda has to be to her beading class by 10:30 am. It's just not going to work tonight. Let's just say she is in her room boo hooing now...and I feel a little bad for her. I am going to go and gather her up because there is a fabulous storyteller at the library this afternoon. Drama...I guess that's what a 10 year old does!
To be continued!

never dull....
Now, this is complete and utter joy!!!
C is for Cricket! Here's oneof his new outfits!
o you think he is trying to tell me he wants to go some where??? He's pushing his car seat around.
Jayda and Jay were playing for a very long time today. here you will see I snapped a pic and baby Jay was moving so much he's blurry! But then again, that's him...always moving!
Jayda was so excited to get her cake ready and light her candles. It is a day early, but she doesn't like cake and is allergic to icecream so it was more for me to eat! LOL
Anyways, she loved us singing...and it only took three tries until we could get Michael to sing the song right. He is not so into the singing of happy birthday. From what I have gathered, his family does not like their singing voices so they always hide behind the one who doesn't care how bad they sound singing! {Um, that would be me!} Well, I basically stopped singing and looked at him and he sheepishly says, "what?" I said, "We have to start again." And off I go...only to find him singing about every 5th word. "Come on Mike I say, let's all sing!" Third time was a charm! We laughed so hard, and sang so well and Jayda made a wish! Unfortunately, there was more wax on the cake than I have ever seen before. I guess we took too long!
Last but not least...
Welcome to my world! They were unawares at first and then had a ball in the background!

The doors are open...
...on my new Etsy.com shop! I am selling cards! It is a fun endeavor. If no one buys, oh well, that's ok! It was fun doing! Pass it along to anyone who may like hand crafted cards! I will be adding more soon!
What a neat day we have had, albeit, slow and quiet!
Michael was up at the crack of dawn as was Jacob(as usual). Michael pulled out and headed for the open waters to catch some fish. Nothing was quite biting, but a good day out on the water nonethe less!!!
The children were out the door at 9:15 am as they were going to the Astros vs Rays game today! Fun for them, I watched a little bit, it was pretty empty in the stadium but I still didn't see them!
I just now got a phone call from them, and they were sitting in the right field seats.
Baby Jay was having so much fun playing on the floor today! He is all over! Of all the toys he has, he chooses the clicker...his clicker!
Hey, what's under here?
Jay is fascinated by his daddy's hats! He likes to take them off, and of course, eat them!
The world looks bright from up there! Daddy loves to put Jay up on his shoulders...but Jay loves it more!
You'll see here, he doesn't like to come down! He's holding on for dear life!
Like I said yesterday, baby Jay loves popsicles! Today he has a sugar free tangerine popsicle! Perfect for a hot hot hot Florida day!
Gotta love the ending of this! haha

A Summer day!
The day started off like any other, except it's Saturday and Michael had an early morning appointment. So, it was like any other weekday around here. Although, I couldn't remember what day of the week it was anyway. Michael says it is a sure sign I am not working! Hmmm, what is it then that I do all day with baby and house and children and meals and laundry?
NEVERMIND!!! I wouldn't trade it for anything!
Here is Jacob with Jay first thing this morning. They are great buddies!
Ok, can their chins be shaped any more alike...look at those chins!
Look at how tiny he is on that big floor! He started off over by me and wriggled and jiggled over to where he was when I took the picture!
Here's a part of my extensive flower frog collection! I love them all! My mother found most of them for me online or at sales. I love how the one that cost her the least, is worth the most! She paid a dime for it at a garage sale and I believe it would sell for $60.00. But, who's selling them??? Not I! Then, why the picture? Well, it is time to put them away for now. In an effort to baby proof and organize, they are going to have to go into safety storage! I love them and wanted a picture so I could always "see" them when I wanted to see them!
I fixed my layout from yesterday, the way I had it written was plural daddies...he has but one...and so I have fixed it. I wrote it the other way because I didn't have any more Y's and had to marker this one brown. You see, that's a scrapping problem. You always run out of the letters you need!
My father has a very strong need to know if and when it rains. I am to call and give him a report on whether or not the grass is getting enough water at their Florida home.
I assure you this week, we have had enough...every afternoon. Gotta love Florida!
Here's today's naptime creation!
This afternoon, you were chilled so I put some warmer clothes on you. You were playing on the floor and wiggling and jiggling all over, as usual.
It wasn't long before you had thrown up your green beans and rice!
That did'nt stop you...you were on your way the opposite direction!
Daddy gathered you up and you walked walked walked to me!
Of course, then you prompty vomitted the rest of your green beans and rice all over me!
I had to strip your clothes as you were covered in it, as was I! Yet, it still did not stop you and you were on your way to your books. You love books!!!
Last, but not least, I believe I have created a monster! He loves sugar free pineapple popsicles!
So cute!
He was suckling on it and was even biting some off with his two teeth! He kept coming back for more! I had to put my foot down though because I love them more than he!
