Lloyd Bryan "Duke" Deible, 93, 424 Fourth St., Reynoldsville, died Wednesday at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born June 3, 1914, in Reynoldsville, he was the son of the late Herman and Mae Bryan Deible. He was married to Esther Gordon in 1943. She preceded him in death in 1982. He married Phyllis Roush Deible Nov. 28, 1994. She survives.
He was a veteran, having served as a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Reynoldsville Grange No. 1825 and the John M. Read Lodge Free and Accepted Masons for 60 years. He was president of the Reynoldsville Cemetery Association for 30 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Reynoldsville.
He was the vice president of the Reynoldsville Casket Company since 1981.
He is also survived by one son, Gordon Deible of DuBois; one daughter, Deb Rairie of Reynoldsville; one brother, John Deible of Reynoldsville; two sisters, Betty Jewel and Mary Murphy, both of Reynoldsville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Lowell; three brothers: Robert, Charles and Raymond; and one sister, Ruby Hallowell.

DEIBLE: Lloyd B. "Duke", 424 Fourth St., Reynoldsville, died March 5, 2008. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. R. Fernandez officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Legion Post No. 392. Burial will be in Reynoldsville Cemetery, Reynoldsville. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Reynoldsville or the Reynoldsville Cemetery Road Fund.
